Markdown file for the templates

Could you perhaps attach a sample markdown file to the templates so that the template could also be used via pandoc, @janmattfeld ?

Even though I had the intention to try Pandoc (#3), that issue is still open. If you already have experience using Pandoc, I would highly appreciate a POC.
