I suggest to open a discussionforum at The DnD Sanctuary.

@OtterBrowser also has a forum there at https://dndsanctuary.eu/index.php?board=9.0

I want to make use of a forum insead of the issue tracker, in order to discuss matters that are indirectly related to buku.

This is the post that I want to post, yet I sense that not everyone would be interested to see it in their email inbox:

[Discussion] Buku as a sharing bookmarks system over XMPP

I have created a proof of concept PubSub browser which has turned into a dynamix XHTML journal generator and which can give a good prespective of what Buku on XMPP would be.

If it's just about engaging users, feel free to post wherever (though it's not gonna be anything major unless there's already plenty of engagement).

As for having a dedicated project forum, I believe such a thing can be enabled in project settings on GitHub 🤔

I know.

I strive to use GH as less as I can.

…Incidentally, we used to have a dev team forum for this project, but those were apparently discontinued by GitHub.

@jarun there seems to be an option to transfer those to organization discussions; I suggest that we use it:

Also, opening repo discussions (for users/contributors) should be possible as well (though not by me as I have no access to repo settings). There might be a merit for doing so, to separate questions etc. from bug reports and feature requests.

I have enabled the discussions feature for buku now. Please let me know if you face any issues.
