We need a new maintainer.
We need a new maintainer.
I am new to this but I can try.
An Introduction to JavaScript
Hello,
I will like to contribute. Could help me getting started?
Please let me know.
Yes. I am working as a web developer.
…
Hi, you can choose a section that no one is working on and start translating it. When you finish you can submit by making a pull request and changing the English text to Greek. Have a look at how people are editing the text in other translations and make sure to read the rules.
Decorators and forwarding, call/apply
Hello @iliakan ,
I would like also to contribute to this community.
I would like to begin with Code editors!
Can you assign me? or I can begin at any minute?
Thank you in advance.
@ipapoutsidis Sure, you can just post the title of the article here. And then submit a PR.
If no one merges your PR, let me know then =)
Ok, I will start with Code editors.
@iliakan my mistake everything is fine I just push it in the original repo by mistake.
I should push it in my repo.
And in the folder, I make some corrections inside the original file (but kept it as it is) and created a new corrected file you will see it.
@ipapoutsidis do you know how to make github PR?
You mean pull request no but I am reading now about it!
I just did the pull request you can checkout.
Can I start with Manuals and specifications
@ipapoutsidis PR on master.
Is there anyone active here in these times? @1lias @Barous-Anastasios @kpaschalidis @pcrunn
OK @iliakan thanks
@ipapoutsidis PR on master.
Is there anyone active here in these times? @1lias @Barous-Anastasios @kpaschalidis @pcrunn
Haven't been active the previous few weeks. Going to take care of it from now on.
@ipapoutsidis PR on master.
Is there anyone active here in these times? @1lias @Barous-Anastasios @kpaschalidis @pcrunn
Not active.
@1lias, i have finished Decorators and forwarding, call/apply but i cant get image translations to work. I will submit a PR after making a final check.
Can someone check my PR on master!
I can't read Greek, sorry.
I just finished the Manuals and specifications.
Please, someone, see my translation. Before I start my next work.
Thank you.
My next translation will Developer console.
Not sure about your JS experience, we definitely need to make sure the translation is good.
@ipapoutsidis @iliakan
i reviewed "code editors" and commented on some mistakes(typos). It is ok apart from those.
The experience in JS is not the issue!
Do you want me to contribute or not?
@ipapoutsidis have you seen the review of your PR by @tbarous ?
Yes, I just make the corrections.
@iliakan Should I proceed next?
@ipapoutsidis yes, I'll merge it.
thanks @ipapoutsidis !
Thank you @iliakan.
@iliakan I just finished Developer tools!
@tbarous @ipapoutsidis invited you to be contributors.
Yes, I accept the invitation.
Many thanks @iliakan
I make all suggestions, please someone merges it.
I will start with my next translation on Hello, world!
@iliakan Can you merge my PR.
Can someone fix the merge so it that merges automatically?
Thanks.
@ipapoutsidis you can merge it directly, but I'd suggest to get a review from @tbarous first.
Please setup a review and translation process.
I can help with that technically, but not review PRs.
If Ellinika translation is to exist, Greek people should support it.
@iliakan I agree with your response.
Very well just tell me what to do with technical stuff.
@iliakan Tell me what to do or where to go about the technical stuff!
Thanks
@ipapoutsidis you have the power to commit and merge the PR =)
@iliakan from here? How?
@ipapoutsidis Do you see a "Merge" green button at the bottom of the PR page?
@iliakan no I dont this is the page

Click there, go to an individual PR page. Maybe read somewhere about merging PRs?
@iliakan I got it has at the end merge the pull request
But what about mine I just made about 1 hour ago!
How I merge it?
I'm really sorry, but I can't teach how to use Git/Github here. Please ask for advice, read how to merge PRs with conflicts. That's easy to do, but just not easy to explain here in words, there are many tutorial videos in youtube.
@iliakan I finish the conflict and did the merge!
I will continue with Code structure.
So great to hear that!
@iliakan I just finished the Code structure.
My next translation will be The modern mode, "use strict".
@ipapoutsidis great, did you merge it?
Please let someone review it.
@tbarous Can you review my latest translation?
Thank you.
@iliakan I just finish use strict.
I will move to variables.

This issue is not meant to be closed. (Furthermore, why is there a need to inform iliakan every time there is progress with something?)
@ipapoutsidis please read the issue, it documents the translation process.
Note the "Please read this first (click to open)" section. It's all important.
Generally, maintainers should not require me every time. I like Greek language, but not good at it.
Can help technically if needed.
Ευχαριστώ =)
@iliakan Ok I got it :)... I will proceed silently...
I also know little(maybe more than little) Russian I will write "спасибо за обновление"!
I close it by mistake "izvini"!
I will continue with Comparisons
Can someone merge my changes,
You can do it.
@iliakan where should I go to merge it?
@ipapoutsidis you're the maintainer. At the PR page, at the bottom. Or commit directly.
