Adding features: hyperlinks for text within timeline?

I love this package. I was looking for something just like this as an alternative to web-based applications for creating timelines. Specifically, this tool will be great for organizing concepts in my classes that are heavy on anthropological theory. I was curious if you had thought of developing a feature to add hyperlinks to text within the timeline plot. For example, in your WWII demo, each leader's name could take one to the Wikipedia page for that person. I came across the gridSVG package that includes the grid.hyperlink() function, which may be an option. My R skills just aren't quite at the level where I can try to make that happen myself. Thanks for your time and the work you put into this project.
