is there a way to connect the package to an already created custom assistant from the playground

Nope, I don't think there's a way of doing so.
If there's an API endpoint to do so, could you point it out here?

I asked gpt and it told me that I should just put the assistant id as the model but that did not work. The only endpoint i found is when adjusting the permissions of an api key

I am not sure of that is helpful though. Let me know if you are able to figure something out. Thanks for the effort and for the amazing package you have created.
