auto-collapse groups

can we get an option to auto collapse all tab groups that arent in focus? so when you click on one group or tab in a group is collapses the others?

here is a tiny extension that does it, but it doesn't seem to play nice with acidtabs. i'm guessing cause if it minimizes a group, the groupname isnt modified with the tab count. I'm including a link so the dev can see the logic/method they used.
