Is there a way to manually change the sound input from MDBG?
I'm not a programmer, but I managed to get the add on working on my mac after following the instructions on this site (yaay!). Is there way to correct the sound input when there are multiple tones to one character (eg.: 教, jiao1 and jiao4). Please help!

Not easily, off the top of my head. I'll try to think of a solution for this.

I have the same issue - sometimes the wrong tones are selected. I don't know if the TTS APIs support this kind of options but if they do, you could try and use the pinyin field as hint for the correct alternative.
