Problem with the pinyin tones - cannot change them

Hey, when the add-on automatically fill everything in and somtimes writes the wrong pinyin-tones it doesn't work to manually change them to the right tone? On the earlier add-on it was just to write the number behind the word and in that way get the right tone but that doesn't work anymore. Is that some sort of bug or is it that you have changed it so that one have to do something else when changing the tones?
