The composer.json reference is not enough. It should also be adjusted to clarify which version.

Alternatively, you might want to relicense under the MIT license if you still want to work alongside any GPL 2.0 projects.

Oh, currently it is likely that this cannot be installed alongside swiftmailer unless you choose LGPL 3.

EDIT: or MIT.
