OI frequently loses network connectivity. Per advice from the OI mailing list, do the following the next time it happens:
# dladm show-link -s rge0- Check for error messages in the /var/adm/messages related to rge0

None of the above show any errors. At this point I'm strongly considering paving over my OI installation with TrueNAS Core. OI's lack of Resilio Sync support has made it basically the machine running it a backup target at best, and due to this issue it's failing even at that simple mission.

Other proposed solutions from the OI mailing list:
- disabling
in.routedwithrouteadm(8)(apparently this is disabled by default) - see Automatic Configuration (NWAM)
