Last modified time stamp of composite objects

Today I stumbled about a strange behaviour when using composite objects.
The "Last modified" line of the footer shows the time stamp of the
composite folder itself and not of its containing objects. To my mind
the time stamp should be changed by the composite itself or by any
object inside the composite (if it's published). What do you think?
