When Mercury2 will be realized?

Mercury-editor is the best of all another editors.

Could you tell when Mercury2 will be realized?
And does it ready for production for now ?

I'm using it for a production thing, but it doesn't have a complete html region, which is what gives it meaning.

I'm making a region that's similar to medium.com and I'm using custom image regions and some of the structural code.

You're free to use it, because it provides some nice things, but it's not a drop in solution, and may be heavy for your needs.

Thanks for you hard work!
One more question: is there a tutorial "how to install Mercury2" on rails4" ?
Railscast is too old in nowadays.
Thanks!

Mercury2 won't be a rails engine. There will be a mercury-rails engine that does that, but that's incomplete too.

As I understood Mercyry2 will send just json, without integration with rails?
Probably is there guide for installation? I've checked readme but didn't understand how to properly install Mercury2.
Thanks for you answers.

Mercury2 does not work out of the box for me=(
I get annoying rangy errors ( #428 ) , I have to fix css (as paths to fonts are not relative there).
HTML region does not work for me at all (when I select anything and choose bold/italic I see no reaction, in the same time markdown regions seems to work well)
Docs are also not clear. I see that a lot of haml files and I do not know what to do with them as I am not Rails developer. I also have no clude what is the difference between mercury.css and mercury.bundle.css (which of them I should use and which should not?)

It's a good chance to start contibute in Mercury2. :)
But it would be good to see @jejacks0n 's answer about Mercury2 installation.

Dear god, I've said the HTML editing isn't done. Don't use that region type.

Is there any roadmap with plans about HTML region?

Hi jejacks0n,

Just read the issue related to your health. First off, Take care. We appreciate your efforts in making this wonderful editor.

There are a lot of programmers eager to help releasing the Mercury2 n related mercury-rails gem. Including me.

If jejacks0n can organize our pending tasks to create a stable version, that shd be more efficient.

As I know so far, HTML region is main task, n mercury-rails gem won't be finished before Mercury2 get a stable
