Description:
When I try changing the homepage configuration to posts,
configuration,
or anything else other than the default pages,
it doesn't register.
Tell us a bit about yourself:
- Version of JekyllAdmin I'm using <HINT: use
bundle show
to check>: 0.11.1 - Version of Jekyll I'm using <HINT: use
bundle show
to check>: 4.3.3 - Version of NodeJS I'm using <HINT: use
node -v
to check>: v18.17.0 - Operating System <e.g. OS X, Windows>: Windows
- Browser <e.g, Safari, Chrome>: Mozilla Firefox
Steps to reproduce:
- Add the following configuration to
_config.yml
:
jekyll_admin:
homepage: "posts"
- Run
bundle exec jekyll serve
- Navigate to
http://127.0.0.1:4000/admin
I expected the following:
The first page to be Posts:
http://127.0.0.1:4000/admin/collections/posts
But got the following, instead:
The first page is Pages:
http://127.0.0.1:4000/admin/pages
Other details:
The _config.yml
used:
# Welcome to Jekyll!
#
# This config file is meant for settings that affect your whole blog, values
# which you are expected to set up once and rarely edit after that. If you find
# yourself editing this file very often, consider using Jekyll's data files
# feature for the data you need to update frequently.
#
# For technical reasons, this file is *NOT* reloaded automatically when you use
# 'bundle exec jekyll serve'. If you change this file, please restart the server process.

# These are used to personalize your new site. If you look in the HTML files,
# you will see them accessed via {{ site.title }}, {{ site.email }}, and so on.
# You can create any custom variable you would like, and they will be accessible
# in the templates via {{ site.myvariable }}.

Write an awesome description for your new site here. You can edit this
line in _config.yml. It will appear in your document head meta (for
Google search results) and in your feed.xml site description.
