Twitter card large image not displaying

In my config file, I set the Twitter card size to summary_large_image but it still renders summary in the code. When I hardcode it below the SEO tag, it unfurls correctly on Twitter, but not Slack (which is pulling from the Twitter image size).

Code I'm using:

twitter: username: GovFresh card: summary_large_image
