Brightness control from within the video player

I would love to have a brightness control built in to the video player, so that instead of having to swipe down the control centre and changing brightness that way, I can control it easily from within the app.

Netflix has this control built into its app:

There's also another benefit to using this - when controlling brightness via the app itself, the manual brightness setting does not persist once the app is closed and the phone is locked. It reverts back to its normal auto-brightness value. When changing brightness via the control panel, that brightness setting persists and has to be changed back to normal.
