Ampersand is being encoded improperly when using addCompany method

I am using this library to build vcards on law firm websites. Most them have ampersands in their names & which is being used for the site title on the website.

I am then grabbing this site site to populate the Company field in the vcard.

But when I view the contents of the vcard, the & is being shown as &amp

Is there something I can do to prevent this? Do I need to change the char set for my implimentation? Thanks for the help.

I'm at the moment unable to check what is happening there, it will be a few weeks until I will be able to check if I can fix this.

We have problems with encoding special characters as well - i.e. first name "Grüter" will become "Grüter" on Windows and "Gr√°ter" on MacOS.
