in this very naïve benchmark, Avro payload is smaller than Kryo, but read/write perf is slower.
Maybe, I'm doing something wrong :)

@jerrinot does it still make sense to provide avro integration? I'm thinking about integration with https://github.com/confluentinc/schema-registry <- avro schema registry
