Switching bugzilla's doesn't seem to work

Originally I tried bugzini:
./bugzini -l # wait... things eventually load. cool. # look at bugs from bugzilla.gnome.org then I decided to try a different bugzilla ./bugzini --bz-host=bugzilla.redhat.com -l # hmmm... i still see all the gnome categories on the left... # is anything happening? nothing seems to be loading.
so I'm not quite sure what's happening. does bugzilla.redhat.com not work?
is loading very slow?
is it borked from first having looked at a different bugzilla?
as a side note, I heard that bugzilla.redhat.com is changing something about their RPC, so this may or may not be related.
