Your idea
The new relative x-axis markers are a good feature. However, they tend to wiggle back and forth by a few pixels with live streaming data. It is unsettling. When in doubt, the markers should stay at the same pixel location, even if it is not exactly correct. When the user pauses the display, they should move to their exactly correct location.
