Doesn't render as Example <strong>manifest.webmanifest</strong>, but as Example **manifest.webmanifest**. Using the "bold heading" method also ignores any markup.

This issue has been addressed in 1.5.0. Details are available in the updated Custom Styles section of the docs.

Note: If you'd like to use the latest version shortly after it has been published, be sure to specify the version (@1.5.0) in the URL until the CDN has updated the @latest redirect (which can take a few hours after publishing).
