Loading wav file sometimes fails due to ffprobe library not being able to load

Steps to reproduce

Expected behavior

ffmpeg/ffprobe should not be required when loading data from wav files.

Actual behavior

The following stack trace indicates we're loading a wav file, but get an error when trying to reference ffprobe.
