Feature request: Favorite bar

Hi,

First, thanks for your work. I use your extension for years now :)
Here is my feature request:
I used the option displaying the favorite bar only on new tab. However using your extension, that doesn't work anymore and I would appreciate to have the favorite bar displayed when a new tab is create.

Unfortunately, there's no way for me to mix contents and functionality from the built-in new tab or from other extensions. The concept of "favorites" would be stored in those other extensions.
