function bind.tip not found

I am trying to construct a phylogenetic tree based on the megaphylogeny provided but even though I have managed to do it in the past I know get an error message saying "Error in bind.tip(T1, tip.label = data$species[i], edge.length = len, : could not find function "bind.tip".
Do you now why this is happening? Is there something I can do to fix this problem?
