Previewing a large CSV fails

I opened a CSV with around 2.5million rows in it.
When I try to preview it, nothing happens except an error in the bottom right corner, saying "Open a CSV file first to show a preview".
Is there a limit on number of rows that is supported? I couldn't find one in the documentation.
