The race does not fully finish when reaching goal, continues to add points and
update dist/time after. Make it stop.

Works well enough to be considered for beta release. the Task ends now, but the
data keeps recording for a tad bit later on the emulator. I am guessing that
the device might be more accurate, but not entirely sure yet.
