The current UI for sharing looks like this:

As a new user, I'm not sure that this would make sense. I see the following issues:

  1. The user must press that Share Link button to reveal the sharing URL, but the embed link is shown all of the time. Do we need this button?
  2. The URL appears in blue, indicating that it can be followed by clicking. It can't.
  3. The URL is difficult to select. Because the default events are discarded, double/triple clicking to select does not work.
  4. There is currently no button to copy the embed link to the clipboard.

Something along these lines (from gist.github.com) might make more sense:
