Closing modal with lightSpeedOut hides bootstrap hamburger menu icon

When I open and close a modal with lightSpeedIn and lightSpeedOut on my cell phone the navbar extends beyond the edge of the screen. It extends the page to about twice the width of the browser. If I use other animations nothing goes wrong.
