Tracking status label in delegated Mangadex doesn't show up on some/recently added titles

Steps to reproduce
- add manga from MangaDex source to library
- ensure MangaDex tracking for manga is set to "Reading" status
- in browse view, "Reading" label does not appear for the manga
Expected behavior
The label at the top right of a manga entry in the browse view for MangaDex should display the current status of the MangaDex tracker for that entry, whether or not the entry is in the library.
Actual behavior
There is no label in the top right for some entries.

I noticed this issue for a long time (months, years?) on my old Kindle HDX, and on my current Pixel Tablet. Both of these were on the preview branch. For testing purposes, I just did a fresh install of the current stable version 1.10.5 on my Pixel 5, and tried adding the top few entries of MangaDex. Whether it was an entry already in my MDList, or an entry I had never tracked before, added to my library or not, I was unable to have the "Reading" label appear no matter what I tried. This install did not import any backups, this was a completely empty database, the only previous information imported was from me logging into my MangaDex account for tracking purposes.
Another user on discord was able to replicate this issue. We believe that after a certain point, whether based on date or version or database size, new entries in our database no longer show the tracking status label in the top right. I have about 900 entries from MangaDex in my library, the other user has about 600 and is on stable 1.10.5
