Looked into this --> won't be possible without explicitly adding a URL.
There is some support for hyperlinks here: https://gist.github.com/egmontkob/eb114294efbcd5adb1944c9f3cb5feda
But support is limited to only a couple new terminals...
Other thoughts have been to build a GUI or webpage. See this ongoing project for more info: https://github.com/joecummings/gitmine/projects/1
