Stuck at "Create your account" with blank email address

Our schema for LDAP has the email field named "mailPrimaryAddress". When I try to log into to discourse with an LDAP user, it successfully pulls the Full Name, but leaves the email field blank, and then refuses to let me create the new account. Can I change the name of the email field this plugin is looking for?

I've checked auth skip create confirm and the recommended settings alongside it.

I was able to add email addresses to the "mail" field, now it works great.
