Steps to reproduce the issue
Go to Updates
Expected result
No "dev" updates
Actual result
Search Extension v 4.0.1 DEV
System information (as much as possible)
j4.0.3 and updates set to stable.

I think it is "dirt" that come after updating 3.10 to 4.x
It is not "dirt" it makes sure your search component still works on J4 after the upgrade from 3.10.
From my understanding @Hackwar is already working on a full 4.x version, I only wanted to make this minimal version to make sure it just not break the site on J4.

Hi, I have the 4.0 (the 4.01-dev just prompted to update) but I didn't notice any break. How should I check if the search is affected by any problem?

For me now is really clear, but showing a "-dev" version can make confusion in the typical J admin users.
What the standard user may not understand (also because it is not documented) is if it is right to do this update or not, especially if they have not used the standard search for years.
What it seems to me with -dev appendix is that for some reason a beta update appears available even if I set "show only stable release updates".
