Kittens not refreshing

Hi, I love the idea for the site and started using it yesterday, but I found that while a kitten appeared after the first 100 words (when goal was set at 100 words), a fresh kitten did not appear when I passed 200 words.
(When I would reset the goal to 200 words after passing 100 but before reaching 200, a new kitten did appear at 200 words, but not at 400, etc.)
I'm using Google Chrome.
Hi again, was playing around with it today and managed to get a new kitten after every 100 words only by doing the following:
- Set goal at 100 words (kitten appears when 100 is reached)
- After passing 100 words, set goal at 200 words (new kitten appears when 200 reached)
- After passing 200 words, set goal back to 100 words (new kitten appears at 300, 400, 500 etc words)
Don't know it that helps at all but thought I'd mention it!
We had another report of this failing on someone running Firefox 14.0.1 on their PC.
I have confirmed it works fine on Firefox 14.0.1 on OSX and on Safari on my iPhone.
To make it work:
Load http://writtenkitten.net/
If it contains former saved work, delete it from the textarea and shift-reload to ensure it's clean
Ensure dropdown is set to "Fresh kitten every 100 words"
Start typing and/or copy-pasting text into text area. If using iOS, hit "space" after each paste, as it doesn't recognise the words unless you do.
At 100 words, you should see your first kitten
Continue to type/paste
At 200 words, you should see your second kitten
