Cuts off first word of line.

It is losing the hours of a time format, i.e. r'\d\d:\d\d' becomes r':\d\d', if it is at the start of a line.
It also loses the first word of a new line. I've have been staring at the rtf code inside the documents but have not been able to determine a causal pattern, because sometimes it doesn't take all the first words and sometimes it leaves the time alone, too.

After convert:.........|..........Original rtf:
10:56 AM ............. |..........10:56 AM\par
s so funny..............|.......... It's so funny.

, January 13, 2010.. |........Wednesday, January 13, 2010}

and so on.
