Could have something in place when a cadet introduces themselves that sets a timelimit of 30 minutes or so, and the first user to mention them in #ten-forward gets awarded an XP bonus?

We should definitely have this, because I'm often too lazy to welcome newbies but also I love badges

A thought: Unless we think it's likely to be abused, the low-tech solution here is to award the bonus to whoever reacts to Agimus' post in the McLaughlin Group. Looks like those posts get more than one react rarely or never.

Ahh yes, that's a good point. I think we can pretty easily add something in to make it only trigger on the first react as well to safeguard it.
