Is there a way to do this using the config file or is that a new feature request?

Hi, I don't know if this is what you mean, but currently I see as user name part of the e-mail (the part before the @ sign), instead of the Slack user name of the person. This is very confusing because I do not recognize anyone :) For instance one person is called "info".

Is this change what you are asking for or should I open a new issue?

I was referring to changing my own display name but I think your query is related.
It's about displaying the user's "display name" instead of "username".

In your case info@example.org may have a display name of "Mike". Using that instead of the username/email address would be more human-friendly.
