Standard license

I know this sounds a little bureaucratic, but would it be possible to switch to a non-custom, widely used license like BSD, LGPL or MIT? Using this in projects with strict license requirements means the license has to go through legal for approval.

After comparing this to a couple others, realized that its merely the MIT license. Would probably be a good idea to call that out explicitly, but closing issue.
