Delete Downloaded Files

I installed it and found it to be the perfect application. I just can't delete the files by clicking on the trash can (I did the installation on the VPS logged in with the root user), so the download directory is in "/root/downloads" Would it be a permissions problem? Or is the resource just not ready?
