Add Local/Global Update to Target File

I am currently using skeleton modeling for one of my models. After updating the driving sketch, the derived part feature in the other parts does not always update (has lightning bolt next to it). I then have to manually update each part. Adding a local/global update to a specific file would be great since currently the 'Document Update' command on the top level assembly does not seem to be cutting it.
