Suggestion: Answers as new threads with children

Short description
Thread answers could be their own "threads" again such that all replies to that thread become children of it. This has been suggested to be similar to reddit often, but you could take it a step further.

The issue

• Threads in Maven end up being collections of short conversations between two or more members which talk about a related topics not relevant to everyone. You can't easily scroll up or down to enter another topic due to the way loading messages works and the linearity of the chat.
• These short conversations edge on a new topic which could be its own Top-pointer with other interested parties than in the original thread.

How the suggestion would solve the issue

• It would make threads easier to follow and find the parts of conversation members find personally interesting.
• It would be in the spirit of Maven if thread replies could be discovered as own topics with Serendipity again.

Other considerations
The reddit thread idea is still very popular and it seems like many users want to see it.
The current Chat/Forum-like style also has its benefits. Loading times hinder more real time conversation and lead to more thought out messages, but still there is pairing up to conversation parties similar to YouTube comments.
