Git Bash for Windows does not have the bc command

Hi there,

Really nice idea! I tried to run on Windows, but Git bash does not include the bc command. I have changed to use awk which I think is more universal.

Wasn't sure if I should make it a separate file or not.... Hopefully those on Windows will find this issue.
