Add short usage instructions to `--help`

In particular, the default of showing the first node is often confusing, and a short sentence would probably help with that.

I'll probably use this as an excuse to (totally unnecessarily) switch to using clap for argument parsing.

I'm cancelling this issue in favor of taking some care with documentation when I get around to doing #25.
