I am trying to figure out this Jar file will impact the Performance on
Application.
This is no doubt a great tool to use .
I just want to know how this plugin is getting all the info and whether while
gathering information will this impact performance issue on application.
I want to use this as plugin to JIRA and confluence to monitor , but wanted to
make sure its not going to impact any performance issue
Operating system : Redhat Linux 6
Application : Jira with tomcat.
Awaiting for your response

Impact on the performance will be not noticeable. In fact, I don't remember
anyone speaking about a performance problem for the plugin in JIRA.
(The plugin is currently installed in at least 1048 active JIRA instances
according to Atlassian Marketplace)
You can read more about overhead in production at:

To answer your question, all data is gathered using probes in the application
and using java methods calls.
Is it ok and can we close this issue?
