jupyterlab/jupyterlab-toc

breaks LaTeX in headings

I have a notebook with a heading

## Isotonic estimator: $\check{F}^\alpha_{s}$

Normally it displays as intended:

When I switch to the TOC panel on the right, both the heading in the notebook

and in the TOC

are broken.

Just a minor thing, but it would be nice if this could get fixed.

JupyterLab 1.1.4. I don't know how to get the version of the extension, but I just now installed it through the JupyterLab Extension Manager.

I have the exact same problem with subscript and superscript symbols in headings written using LaTeX.

Same problem here.

For me # \mathbb{R}^n displays as \mathbb{R}n in the left toc panel.
