Not working with Firefox 43.0.3

Firesize is not working with the newest Firefox anymore. It shows a menu but selecting a size has no effect. I think it started with version 42 or 43 of Firefox.
Hi. Firesize is not working in version 44.0.2 and I has no clue either why :)
How to debug this extension? Maybe we can help with some data.
for me (under Ubuntu 14.04 and 16.04) Firesize is working like it should with Firefox 52, 53 and 54!
under Ubuntu 12.04 with Firefox 52 Firesize is also working, but i also experience this/some issues:
the menu with the sizes is sometimes displaced and unfunctional...!
when you used Firesize to resize the window and maximized it afterwards again, the Firesize-menu opens where the button was before maximizing and doesn't react when clicking on any size.
@joergrech and @carlosromel this may fix your problem:
"restore the window-size", click on the Firesize-button (you don't have to resize but it should be possible again) and then you can maximize your window and use Firesize again. ...maybe you have to do this twice.
@justindarc as a workaround after using Firesize to escape a maximized window you must resize the window manually AND open the Firesize-menu AFTERWARDS then you can use Firesize multiple times and/or maximize the window, and Firesize stays functional after maximizing.
another interesting behavior i noticed:
if you've chosen a window-size via Firesize which is so small, that the Firesize-button is "hidden", as a workaround it is enough to just open the Firesize-menu (no manual resizing required) to work around the bug...!
by the way:
after resizing or maximizing the window (no mater which way you chose also with/without workaround) in the Firesize-menu the last used size is highlighted as it were hovered, not checked, just highlighted - this is not a problem and also doesn't bothers but i just wanted to mention it, maybe it may help to investigate.
--> maybe all these problems occur, because Firesize does not recognize the change to the maximized-state of the window correct...?
