After using LICEcap on a secondary monitor, disconnecting the monitor, LICEcap is unusable since it is off of any of the current monitors

Hello, I recently ran into this issue when using LICECap on a multi-monitor setup.

Prerequisites:

  • Have at least an additional monitor

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open LICEcap on the secondary monitor and record/save something.
  2. Close LICEcap
  3. Disconnect the secondary monitor
  4. Open LICEcap again for use on the primary monitor

Expected behavior
LICEcap is appears on one of the monitors and is usable.

Actual behavior
While LICEcap appears on the Windows taskbar, it is unusable since it remembers the previous position it was in before it was closed. However, after that monitor has been disconnected, this is no longer a valid position and there is no way to use it.

Current workarounds

  • Reconnect the monitor
  • (on Windows) Use Win+UP shortcut to force LICECap onto one of the monitors

I am running Windows 10 x64 and LICEcap v1.28. Let me know if more details are needed.
