Proto formatting

Opened this issue · 7 comments

Hi, big thx for your work.

I use https://plugins.jetbrains.com/plugin/8277-protobuf-support previously and it has formatting features like the alignment of the brackets and indent 4 spaces like default in IDEA

As far as I know this plugin should support at least as much formatting as the previous plugin. See the screenshot below for the settings page.

Is there something specific that is not working properly? Some more advanced features like aligning field names and numbers into columns aren't supported at this time, but I don't believe they were supported by the previous plugin either.

Thx for reply, yes, indent now work well, but alignment of the brackets does not work

Can you provide an example screenshot or file and the result you'd like?

Probably not by me. JetBrains develops this plugin now: https://github.com/JetBrains/intellij-plugins/tree/master/protobuf
