Wrong marker allignment

The image of a marker should be on top of the map position. The maps currently place the top-left corner of the marker on the desired map position. There should be a way to specify the marker alignment.

Also considering the default position of the marker to be middle-bottom is not a bad idea (i.e. the middle bottom point of the marker to be on the desired position). This default whould match the default map marker and also this example:
