need to make documentation on annotation features

This is a call for documentation on an existing feature rather than a request for new feature or a bug report.

As a start, here's a great research note discussing map annotation, but we don't have any actual feature description on mapknitter.org or on the website

This will need to be tackled when the new Illustration interface is posted. But that may be some time away; either way, it'd be great to re-open this as an issue on https://github.com/publiclab/mapknitter
