It's a bit annoying to have to switch to the notifications tab every time I open up the popup — is it possible to have the notifications page be the default one?

I like this idea, makes sense.

I may not get around to this for a while, so in the meantime, I've added the 'Good first issue' label so anybody can create a PR for this. It should be quite a simple change.
