MMM-kalliope module is not visible

I'm having issues with having the module displayed on the mirror. Is that sufficient just to have the module cloned and added the configuration part into the config.js? So far that didn't lead to having the module visible.
Don't I need to run npm install in the module's folder after cloning it?
What are the complete prerequisites to have it displayed?

Just follow the doc should be enough.
What are the log?

Followed exactly like described, there is nothing special. But nothing appears on the screen, just default MM modules.
